# Edit a Report

Editing a report allows you to update its settings, report type, or reporting period to ensure the information reflects your current business needs. Keeping reports accurate helps you maintain clear visibility into your financial performance.

To edit a report:

1. Navigate to the **Reports** section from the left menu.
2. Open the report you want to update.
3. Select **Edit Report**.
4. Adjust any of the following fields:
   * Report name
   * Report type
   * Reporting period (This year, Last year, Last 12 months, etc.)
   * Additional report settings
5. Once you've made your changes, select **Save** to apply them.

6. (Optional) To delete a report, select the **delete** icon next to edit.
